FOSTER & ADOPTIVE PARENTS' COMMUNITY
3rd Wednesday of every month
in Room 401
Next Meeting: Wed. Aug. 16th
It's a training night; a certificate for one hour of training credit will be given to foster parents.
Training Topic: Jacob's Law (HB2442) was created to address the difficulty in accessing mental health care. Anika Robinson, one of the foster moms, who worked to pass this legislation will join us to answer questions and explain the details of this important law.
Our Foster & Adoptive Parents' Community is open to all foster/adoptive parents, as well as those who are seeking to learn more about taking the next step in their foster/adoptive journey. You do not need to wait to be licensed/certified to attend.
You will have a chance to meet and develop relationships with other foster/adoptive parents, encourage one another and share ideas. In addition, six times per year, training is provided to help you meet licensure requirements.
Childcare is available for ages birth through 12 years old.
Cost: $5 per family
